LUSH Aqua Mirabilis.

I really wanted to like this product, but today when I opened up the container I'd been storing it in to see it had, well, come alive, I had to toss it out.  I'm looking at the date now on the packaging and see that I've had for exactly a month and a couple days.  Maybe these just aren't meant to last that long since they are made from "fresh" ingredients.  Maybe my bathroom has poor ventilation (it does).  Or maybe it's a combination of these things in addition to me not bathing regularly enough (tale as old as time).  What's nice is it was only about £6 so I'm not out a bunch of money.  And I did like the results.  But I guess Lush body butters just don't fit my "lifestyle."

Do you have any body scrubs you recommend? I'm in the market for one that won't go moldy on me.

  1. You mentioned both scrub and butter so I'm confused... If it's a scrub you want, Sephora's sugar body butter is just the best smelling thing in the whole world. No joke. Get it. Body butter wise, nip + fab have some great stuff but my ultimate favourite is a French one by Le Petit Marseillais. Lives your skin extra moisturised and super nice smelling!

    2. And just to clear up, this is like a body scrub but in bar form. And it's also moisturising. Confusing, I know.

  2. I love LUSH! Sometimes you have to use stuff quickly though, which can be tough. If you buy it in the store you can usually ask them to cut it in half, that way you can use it quicker.

    1. Ahhhh I totally didn't think of that. Great tip! My flatmate suggested that I store it in my room instead of the bathroom--hers has survived that way. Once I forgive LUSH, I'll probably give Aqua Mirabilis another go because I really liked it otherwise.
