Stourhead.

20 December 2013

Back at the beginning of December, my flatmate Sanne and I did a little getaway weekend.  We ventured out to the middle of nowhere. Not an exaggeration. We got into our B&B very late the first night and we were so far from civilisation that pizza refused to deliver to us.  Not to mention no cell service.  Try not to die out here.

No but really, Stourhead was absolutely lovely.  The bridge and temple in the gardens were locations used in the 2005 Pride and Prejudice film—a movie Sanne and I love.  It was nice to get out the city for a few days, be treated to freshly prepared breakfast and farm cheese, and spend the day wandering around outside.

  1. Stourhead is one of my favourite places in the UK, we used to stop by on our drive down to Devon for the summer every year and I have such good memories there - such a pretty area!
